Bog-Dwelling Gremlin

This curious fisherman adorns himself with algae and nets salvaged from murky ponds and river pools. He is very shy, but may emerge to help or advise humans who are dealing with some of the less friendly spirits found in forests and bodies of water.

He is made from paper mache, wood, dyed hemp fibres and mulberry bark. His eyes are glass, and he was painted with highly pigmented acrylics.

All my creatures are sculpted and painted by hand in my studio in rural Scotland. As I never use molds or casts, each critter is a one-of-a-kind unreplicable artwork with its own quirks and personality - I hope you find one that speaks to you in particular. :)
