Snailshell Giraffe Paper Mache Sculpture

This serene-looking giraffe lives in a brightly coloured snailshell, from where it has emerged to observe the world with a gently curious expression on its face.

The sculpture is handmade in my little Primrose Hill studio using paper mache and paper clay, with black glass beads for eyes. It has then been painted with high-quality acrylics and coated with a protective varnish. It measures approximately 16cm in height, and 20cm nose to tail - the perfect size for a bookshelf or coffee table!
