Little Tortoise

This humble little tortoise has a lovely turquoise blue shell and a peaceful expression on its face. It's made from paper mache with glass beads for eyes, and painted with vibrant, highly pigmented acrylic paints.

This sculpture measures approx. 9cm (3.5in) in length and 5cm (2in) in width.

All my creatures are sculpted from scratch and painted by hand in my little studio. As I never use molds, each critter is a one-of-a-kind unreplicable artwork with its own quirks and personality - I hope you find one that speaks to you in particular! My sculptures will brighten your day and add a playful element to any nook or shelf in your home, and they are also loved as unique gifts. :)
